It’s a setting like no other, and it could be your wedding day.
As a wedding planner with a love for all things adventurous (and stunning!), I’m here to help make your Zion National Park wedding as unforgettable as your journey together. Ready to start planning your epic wedding in one of the most breathtaking places on Earth? Let’s dive in!

Why Zion National Park?
Zion is the perfect destination for couples who crave adventure and natural beauty. Its towering rock formations, winding canyons, and vibrant colors make it a stunning backdrop for any wedding. Whether you’re an outdoorsy couple who loves hiking or simply want something unique and serene, Zion delivers.
Not only does Zion offer an incredible landscape, but the sense of peace and tranquility there is like no other. It’s a place where you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and truly focus on what matters: your love and the start of your new adventure together.
Best Time to Get Married in Zion
When should you plan your wedding in Zion? The best times to visit are during the spring (March-May) or fall (September-November). These months offer the perfect balance of mild weather, and the most vibrant scenery BUT they're also some of the busiest times because of how nice teh weather is! The summer months can get pretty hot, and you may find yourself sharing the park with a lot of other visitors. Winter weddings are also an option if you want a snowy desert scene, but it can be chilly, so come prepared!
Getting the Right Permits
A wedding in Zion National Park is as incredible as it sounds, but it does require a bit of planning. To make it official, you’ll need a special use permit from the park—especially if you’re having a larger group. Don’t worry, though! I’ve got you covered in handling all the paperwork and making sure everything runs smoothly.
The application process can take several months, so you’ll want to apply at least six months ahead of time and no less than three weeks out. It’s important to know that some locations within the park are in high demand, so it’s essential to lock in your venue early! The cost for the permit is currently $100
Picking Your Perfect Spot
Zion has some truly magical spots for a wedding ceremony. Whether you want a grand, sweeping view or a secluded, intimate setting, Zion offers both. Here are a few top spots I recommend:
The Temple of Sinawava:
Maximum of 35 people.
Very Accessible but does require a little bit of a hike.
Menu Falls:
Maximum of 10 people
Zion Lodge Lawn:
Maximum of 75 people.
Largest option but definitely not any privacy.
Nature Center North Lawn
Maximum of 50 people
Only available November to early April
Each of these spots brings its own unique charm, so together, we’ll figure out which one best fits your vibe.
Local Vendors Who Get Your Vision
Planning a wedding in a remote location can be a bit tricky, but that’s where I come in! From photographers to florists, I’ve worked with amazing local vendors who know Zion inside and out. They’ll help make sure your day goes off without a hitch—whether it’s navigating tricky terrain for the perfect shot or delivering your bouquet to a remote ceremony spot.
