I know that when you think "VEGAS" you automatically think of flashing neon lights and chapels. We definitely have those but what people don't realize is that Las Vegas also offers some really incredible desert and red rock wedding venues that will blow your mind. These two eloped with a very small group of friends at Cactus Joes Nursery in Las Vegas Nevada in early March and we can't wait to blow you away with their photos....
These two were in fact, BLOWN AWAY by the 80mph winds that weekend so all of the carefully laid plans were quickly thrown out the window as we pivoted to plan B to avoid the wind as much as possible.
Never have I ever been so happy to have a backup plan in place and luckily, at Cactus Joes, it was a greenhouse large enough for us to set-up all of the elements of their celebration. From "Pop-tails" to "puppies", we loved everything about this day.
REASONS WE LOVE CACTUS JOES AS A LAS VEGAS WEDDING VENUE:
They allow outside vendors (including catering!) No more being forced to use a caterer just because they're they in-house option at the venue! Food trucks, plated meals from your favorite catering company, and unique food options are all on the table.
Eclectic Desert Vibes - this is a working nursery so there are tons of fun cacti, plants, and yard art which in my opinion is a total vibe and I love that there are photo ops every where you look!
"Desert Love" - if you're looking for the "red rock canyon" vibes without the hassle of the permitting process, this is your answer. Cactus joes has property across the street with an unobstructed view of Red Rock Canyon and it's perfect for photos or your ceremony!
Built-in Back-up Plans - Cactus Joes has not 1, but 2 greenhouses on-site that can be used as a back-up OR they're perfect for a stunning indoor set-up.
Their team is fabulous to work with - enough said!
