I still remember the first consultation that I had with Carson and Brandon back in January 2023 and knowing that I WANTED TO BE PART of their celebration. We connected immediately and I absolutely loved chatting, hearing all of parts of the planning that they were excited about and being able to fill in the gaps for them right away. Shortly after that first call, we got started planning their dream Fall Wedding in St George Utah at Holmstead Ranch Resort.
Carson and Brandon came from California to get married in beautiful Southern Utah at a stunning venue tucked away in the mountains of Utah. They got married on Halloween weekend at Holmstead Ranch Resort, and let me tell you.... they did "Spooky" with absolute class and the details for this wedding were absolutely perfect.
3 details that I loved about this fall wedding in St. George Utah
Their anniversary wine bottles with CUSTOM labels. I'm a huge fan of personalized + functional and this was both. What a cute way to celebrate their major anniversaries!
Their cake topper was right on theme with their wedding and the black cake was *chefs kiss'. Fun fact about this topper - one of the guests bumped into the cake and knocked off the cake topper and not one, but BOTH heads popped right off. Nail glue for the win, people.
The pop of purple - All of their colors were dark and moody but this beautiful shade of purple really lightened things up and tied together beautifully with their florals.
The weather did NOT cooperate and while we did have clear skies, the temperatures DROPPED that day and we all froze our asses off but we were prepared. Carson toughed it out for most of her photos but pulled on the cutest fur coat once the photos were complete.
Quick throw back to their proposal story:
"Brandon took me on a surprise out of the blue backpacking trip and was very casual about it. Basically was like we can go this day or this day whatever works best with your schedule. And once we got to the top of the mountain and set up camp we went exploring and he popped the question overviewing the lake"
That being said, I think it was totally fitting that C + B got married in the mountains and this moody Fall Wedding in St. George Utah was absolutely beautiful... the smile on their faces say it all!
First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes..... PIZZA. Is it even a party without pizza?! I don't think it is and this pizza was literally the best thing I've ever had. "Beef or Chicken" not your vibe and looking for something a little more "you" and a little more casual..... highly recommend pizza because your guests are practically guaranteed to enjoy it.
You know those people that you feel like you've known FOREVER but in reality its only been like a year? That is Carson + Brandon for me. Our clients are the absolute best and we love becoming best friends with them. Saying goodbye at the end of the night is the saddest part of our jobs and we are counting down the days until you come back to visit.
