Rainy Las Vegas Wedding At JW Marriott

Oh, this one’s for the books. Erica and Garren’s Las Vegas Wedding at JW Marriott was supposed to be one of those perfect October-in-the-desert kind of days — blue skies, sunshine, maybe a light breeze to keep it pretty. But instead, the weather decided to keep us on our toes.

Now listen, rain in October in Vegas? Pretty unheard of. Monsoon season is long gone by then — or at least it’s supposed to be. But this year, it felt like the rain was just waiting for the weekend to roll around before making an appearance. 🙃
Still, the radar looked good, so we decided to go for it. Plan A: full steam ahead with the outdoor ceremony. And thank goodness we did.
Because honestly? It was perfect.
We got everyone down the aisle, the sun peeked through, and for a few golden minutes it felt like the desert gods were smiling. Then, about five minutes into the ceremony… the drizzle started. By the end, it was a full-blown downpour. But here’s the thing — not one single person moved. Their guests were absolute legends. Everyone just let Erica and Garren have their moment, standing there in the rain, laughing and crying and totally wrapped up in it.

By the time they kissed, everyone was soaked and smiling, sprinting under the gazebo for cover — but it didn’t matter. They were married, and that’s all anyone cared about.
After a quick towel-off and a round of “can you believe that just happened?” the party moved downtown to Atomic Liquors on Fremont for the reception .
Here's the thing about weddings... it’s never about everything going perfectly. It’s about the energy, the people, the “we’re doing this no matter what” kind of love. And Erica and Garren? They had that in spades.
A little rain, a lot of love, and one hell of a party.
