Your guests have truly struck gold with your choice to say "I do" in the dazzling city of Las Vegas. While your wedding will undoubtedly be the main attraction, adding a touch of magic to your guests' downtime can elevate their experience to new heights.

Let's explore all of the exciting and imaginative ways to enhance their Vegas adventure while CELEBRATING YOU!

SunRae Planning, a destination wedding planner based in Las Vegas, shares 7 ideas for a Las Vegas wedding weekend.

7 Las Vegas Wedding Weekend Ideas

ONE | Thrilling Adventures

It might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but Vegas offers heart-pounding experiences for the adventurous type

Consider The High Roller, the second-largest Ferris wheel standing at a towering 550 feet, or The Stratosphere Tower providing a 360-degree view of the city.

For those seeking to keep their feet on solid ground, indoor axe throwing or off-roading in the surrounding mountains are excellent choices.

TWO | Luxurious Casino Expeditions

Indulge in Vegas' high-end casinos and resorts.

Whether you're into sports betting, slots, or table games, Las Vegas is THE destination for a little gambling.

The strip is a treasure trove of gondola rides, music-synced fountains, luxury shopping, and even aquariums and rollercoasters. Spend a day strolling the strip, soaking in the atmosphere, and exploring the world-class hotels and resorts!

THREE | Mouth-watering Feasts

To truly savor Vegas, explore its diverse culinary scene.

From lavish buffets to Michelin Star restaurants owned by celebrity chefs, and a variety of ethnic options in Chinatown, Summerlin, and beyond, there's something for every palate.

The Downtown Arts District also offers a burgeoning collection of gourmet, creative experiences. A quick Google search of "The Most Essential Restaurant Experiences in Vegas" reveals many delectable options.

A few of my personal favorites (On and Off the Strip):

  • Herbs and Rye - Best Ribeye that I have ever had, it's an awesome vibe, and their bartenders are amazing.

  • Hanks - hands down my favorite Martini place!

  • Italian American Club - a little old school but if you love Frank Sinatra music, you will love this place. my husband and I love their live entertainment!

  • Weera Thai - our favorite local Thai place and they do have a few locations.

  • Good Pie LV - this is one of our favorite spots in the arts district and they do have pizza "by the slice" but its so much better when you get a full pie!

  • Velveteen Rabbit - also in the arts district and such a cool spot. Their cocktails are unique and I would plan on making a reservation!

FOUR | An Evening Full of Shows

No trip to Sin City is complete without catching a show!

Vegas is renowned for its top-notch entertainment, ranging from comedy and magic shows to concerts by beloved artists and mesmerizing circus performances with gravity-defying acrobatics.

The "Vegas shows" not your vibe? Check out the Smiths Center for more upscale theatre!

FIVE | Pampering Retreat

Elevate the wedding weekend with some well-deserved downtime at one of Vegas' top-rated spas. Even if you're not staying at a particular resort, day passes are available for purchase, allowing you to indulge in spa treatments wherever your heart desires.

Follow up a day of pampering with shopping and champagne for the perfect blend of luxury and relaxation.

SIX | Outdoor Escapades

Enjoy Vegas's year-round gorgeous weather with outdoor activities.

Whether it's a round of golf in an oasis in the desert, an exotic racing experience, off-roading in the dunes, or hiking in the surrounding mountains, there's an outdoor adventure for everyone.

SEVEN | Poolside Bliss

Vegas boasts some of the world's most luxurious pools.

Whether you prefer a party scene with a beachy vibe, complete with a DJ and dancing poolside, or a laid-back day on a private daybed with a cocktail in hand, Vegas caters to every preference. Even younger guests can enjoy spots with lazy rivers, lawn games, family pools, and shaded cabanas.

The possibilities are truly limitless when planning your Las Vegas wedding weekend. With a little something for everyone, you and your guests are bound to have the time of your lives.
