When it comes to booking vendors for your wedding, you want to make sure you're asking the right questions. By asking the right questions, you can ensure that you're hiring the right vendor that meets your specific needs and can help bring your visions to life. Remember, it's better to be thorough in your research and questioning than to be disappointed later on.
Here are the top questions you should ask YOURSELF before booking them:
Do you feel a connection with this vendor?
Do you and your fiance feel like you are a good match?
Do you love their work and feel comfortable with their communication style and promptness of their communication?
Has this company or person listened well and addressed all of your concerns?
Do they understand your wedding vision?
Is this the company that can achieve what you are wanting for your wedding?
Here are the top questions you should ask your VENDORS before booking them:
Do you have a business license?
Do you have liability insurance?
IF THEY DON'T HAVE THESE TWO BASICS (insurance + business license).... RUN! These are major red flags that they are not running a legitimate above-board business.
What is your availability/ are you available for my date?
What is included in your pricing?
Do you have different packages that you offer?
How far in advance do I need to book?
What distinguishes you from other vendors?
Have you offered services at my venue before?
What are your travel and overtime fees?
Do you have a contract?
What is your cancellation/refund policy?
Are they any additional fees?
Do you have the staff and capacity to meet our demands?
How much is your deposit and is it non-refundable?
Can you share references and examples of your work?
How long have you been in business?
